No. Marketplace and membership funds flow customer → Stripe → your connected Stripe account. We deduct our commission at settlement; nothing sits with us in between.

We chose Stripe because it gives studios a payments backbone that would otherwise take years to build in-house — FCA authorisation, PCI-DSS Level 1, global card acceptance, fraud detection, and dispute handling, all behind one integration.

Stripe supports all major card networks (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank-based methods like Bacs in the UK. Available methods depend on your Stripe Connect account's enabled capabilities.
Stripe Connect payouts follow your connected-account schedule (typically T+2 to T+7 days for new UK accounts, faster once your account matures). Mekkan does not slow this down — the cash lands when Stripe releases it.
Stripe's Smart Retries attempt the payment up to three times over five days. You are notified at each step. For subscriptions, your studio's access enters a read-only state if all retries fail.
Yes. Your Mekkan dashboard surfaces every booking and membership payment with a one-click link into the matching Stripe Dashboard record. Reporting is unified across direct, marketplace, and membership revenue.
